Service Description
𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗠𝗔 𝗧𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗥 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗨𝗦𝗘𝗥 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗘 PASMA, the Prefabricated Access Suppliers’ and Manufacturers’ Association, is the lead industry body for all matters relating to mobile access towers. All members offer equipment that meets the current British/European Standard, BS EN 1004:1-2022 and carries the British Standard Kite-mark or equivalent mark of approval. 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗠𝗔 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗨𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 SS 659 : 2020 states that aluminium tower scaffold erector should complete a training course to equip him to perform only the work of an aluminium tower scaffold erector. PASMA Tower for user course is for anyone who uses aluminium or fiberglass tower scaffold. User can be electrician, plumber, DIYers etc. Once the user pass the course he or she can assemble, dismantle, move, alter and inspect the mobile tower scaffold without having to engage scaffold Approved Scaffold Contractors to do it. This in turn saves money and time. Contractors can ask their subcontractors or staff who have passed the PASMA Tower for user course to assemble the tower scaffold. 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 1. Stability and tying-in procedures 8. Identification of hazards relating to tower scaffolds 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 At least 3 WSQ Statements of Attainment in Workplace Literacy or Numeracy (WPLN) at Level 1 or 2 (eg under ESS, ES)
